bloody piss off today when this happen

I was pretty happy that my favorite yogurt Tutti Frutti was on Groupon for RM9 in a all you can fill up deal. The weird part savings of 80cents. I didn't think much of it because I know every time I eat my yogurt at Tutti Frutti in a orange or green cup, it always costs RM10 more or less with chocolate syrup, sprinkles and banana topping. You can say I was not prepared to find out a 5oz cup was the size of a cup I haven't seen before. It was the smallest cup and it's in white not red, orange or green. It's smaller than my palm size and the amount of yogurt you can fill in does not justify the value of RM9.80. The only perk is the unlimited amount of toppings you can have which I found out is not a perk at all.

That being said, you can't fill up that much as well because you're not allowed to "overflow" your cup. You can only fill up more on toppings or yogurt. There's no room for both to marry. My experience today at Tutti Frutti using this Groupon made me want to take up the chair and swing it over the glass window. I felt like an idiot eating yogurt because:

1. The 5oz cup is small! Don't bother getting it. You're better off with the usual cups by weight for RM9.80. This is more of a trap hiding behind these words "fill up all you can".

2. I was charged RM1for using strawberries as a toping when my Groupon clearly states I get to have all the toppings I can fit. There's even a link to toppings that shows strawberries is one of the toppings!. On top of this, it was when I was eating my yogurt on the table that the staff came to give me my receipts and tell me I have to pay for strawberries! There was no sign no announcement or verbal warning that hello strawberries need to top up.

3. Customer service in Malaysia is dead (sux). I reasoned with Tutti Frutti staff that my Groupon allows me to have any toppings I want so I shouldn't need to pay for that RM1 surcharged. Boy he didn't care less what I am saying. His only reply was "HQ baru inform. I baru tau. You boleh komplain kat HQ". When I asked for HQ's contact details, he quickly tells me to complain on Tutti Frutti Facebook Wall. For RM1, I didn't want to make a bloody scene asking for his managers contact number. I might as well donate this RM1 and blog complain since they couldn't be bother enough to help customers resolve issues without needing to go make complaints on social media.

4.What savings? This Groupon deal - fit all you can without overflowing in a 5oz cup for RM9 is available at Tutti Frutti for the price of RM9.80 (a mere 80cents more) on weekdays. There is nothing special about it, it's not even called a deal. It's just an advertising where people know about Tutti Frutti's latest "no measure" yogurt cup. Giving you hopes you can fill all you can in a cup size only to be crushed when reality hits you, OMG why am I paying RM9 for this small cup of yogurt and some toppings.

Here's what the Groupon deal copy says:

Before the invention of frozen yogurt, the only way for people to enjoy healthy cold desserts was by gnawing on gym-going snowmen. Avoid chilling situations with today’s Groupon: for RM9, you get all the yogurt and toppings you can fit in a 5oz cup (RM9.80 value) at Tutti Frutti, valid at 16 outlets in Peninsular Malaysia.

Flavours and toppings may vary from outlet to outlet, and subject to daily rotation and availability.

Moving away from the price per weight system offered by Tutti Frutti, this Groupon enables customers to fit all they can—without overflowing—in a 5oz cup.

what kinda deal is this? =_= do research please?!

Can't wait to hear what Tutti Frutti fans will say when they go in to redeem their Groupons later. Do they feel RM9 for this deal is worth it compared to the by weight cups? Will they be charged for toppings suddenly ordered by HQ to be payable? Let's just see.

P.S: I can't wait to hear what Groupon says about my complaint. They must have changed their customer service refund procedures to reply "sorry we have been generous but we can't refund you because the conditions are put there for a reason and seeing the merchant is at not fault we will not be refunding you" when I asked for a refund on my hair treatment voucher (the validity was so short!). SO I PAID BLOOD RM88 TO BE BURN there should be a law against to protect customers from coupon / groupon deals!. I know in American and UK groupon buyers can still get credit refunds if their groupons is not utilized.

I email them to ask for refund for my remaining two Tutti Frutti Groupons and asking them to explain so in this scenario, when conditions are put there for a reason and it beats the purpose of it being there if people can't follow, tell me what will you say when your own merchant does not follow?
